A fabulous match which will be remembered for Scarlett's first outing for Howard 2. The youngster was in impressive form, beating both Martin Ball and more importantly Russell Bates, the latter losing 13,11 in the fifth. Beefy also succumbed 11.6 in the fifth, the absence of skippy was obviously significant!.  Jamie Diddams picked up a brace, but Russell wasn't going to lose two on the night, winning three straight. Will Wrapson was the only player to outfox scarlet, winning in four. The doubles was also a fifth leg cracker with Howard taken a two leg lead before the doubles premier leaders fought back to win 11.9 in the decider, to secure victory
