There must be something about Anchorians venue as although the match  score was a close 6-4 to the home side all games apart from one ended in three straight.  John Barker won three for the home side and Garry Kimber and Jack Lolljawaheer both beat Steve Collins to leave the latter winless.  Ian Kelly and Sean Durkin beat both Garry and Jack but could do nothing to stop John who combined with Garry to win the crucial doubles.
