Match Report

Rainham 3 have given themselves a chance of avoiding relegation from Div 1 with a fighting 6-4  win over visitors Upnor. They now have to wait the outcome of Anchs 4 and Howard 4's last matches to learn their fate. A fantastic performance by Tim Davie in this match with his first hatrick of the season outshining Dad Jim who got a brace. Brendon Moodley, playing up from the 5th's, completed Rainham's line up and got a vital win against the luckless Paul Werlemann but lost to Marylyn Dudgeon and Peter Worthington who also beat Jim. Marylyn and Peter won the Doubles to ensure Upnor will top the Div 1 Doubles Averages which is a great effort over a long season with just 4 losses.
