Sturdee 2 avenged their first half defeat to Upnor with a 7-3 success. They raced into a 6-0 lead before Dave Gracey beat Mike Porter and Peter Worthington beat Ted Tydeman in the 7th and 8th games respectively. Gracey and Worthington then combined to win the Doubles in the 5th leg for the 3rd point. Neil Tydeman put in a Player of the Match performance only losing one leg in his 3 singles wins and Dad Ted and teammate Porter won twice each. Mike becomes the first player this season to see off Worthington in straight legs.
