Howard 3 faced Upnor's strongest line up but held their nerve to come away with a 6-4 victory. The result was in the balance until the Doubles, which Upnor lost for only the 4th time this season. Roger Morley was in fine form for the visitors going undefeated in singles and Doubles. Dave Gracey too was in fine touch with a brace including inflicting the first defeat of the season on David Wong. In the first meeting between these sides Derek Bartholomew was Player of the Match; unfortunately this time round Del lost all his games. Its a funny old game !
