Luton 3 kept up their challenge for 2nd spot in Div 1 with another convincing win, this week at home to Boxley 2. They ran out 8-2 winners where Player of the Match Ian Sayer only dropped one leg to keep up his recent good form. Boxley replied with wins for Gary Hentschel over Phil Goldsmith and Lyndon Gurr's straight legs win over Kevin Flannery. Hentschel also had a good chance to beat Flannery having won the first 2 legs but went down 15-13 in the decider. Derek Myers couldn't add to Boxley's total.
