Sturdee 2 included Nicky Stokes in their line up but his treble couldn't prevent Rainham 2 recording a narrow 6-4 victory. Teammate Neil Tydeman had 3 fifth leg defeats, 2 by the narrowness of margins, but at least had the consolation of winning another 5 leg battle in the Doubles with Mehdi Golchehreh for Sturdee's 4th point. Rainham's Mick Hambelton, Nick Trythall and John Coleman got 2 wins each.
