Cliffe Woods 3 hopes of promotion took a big blow when they visited Div 1 champions elect Parkwood. Only Peter Mortley was able to get on the scoresheet with a 4 leg win over Vince Spicer. Andy Larner was very unlucky not to join him with a win as he lost 5 leggers to both Dave Hopkins and Ross Childs. However, Larner and Mortley jnr teamed up to surprisingly thrash Hopkins/Childs in the Doubles for their 2nd point of the evening. Parkwood now sit 21 points clear at the top.
