Fresh from their 10 point haul last week against Chatham Dorset, Boxley 2 gained another 7 points from the other Div 1 Chatham side - Cumberland. Gary Hentschel and Barry Roles went unbeaten in singles and doubles but the scoreline could have been closer with Cumberland losing all the 5 leggers. Gareth Fox can have impressive attacking spells and took the first 2 legs against Hentschel including winning the first leg from an amazing 1-10 down ! However, Hentschel is not one to panic and came back to win the last 3 legs and remain unbeaten for the 2nd week running. Paul Cullern is ever improving and took Roles all the way just losing out 11-7 in the decider. He and Fox gained compensation with wins in 4 legs against Derek Myers as did teammate Phil Humphries for Cumberland's 3 points.
