Div 1 leaders Parkwood march on with win number 14 of the season; this week's victims were visitors Upnor by a score of 7-3. David Hopkins, Ross Childs and Vince Spicer all beat Dave Gracey and Paul Werlemann but were no match for Peter Worthington who was too good on the night. Upnor can usually rely on the Doubles for the last point of the evening but Hopkins/Childs are a useful combination and won in straight legs. This was only Upnor's 2nd Doubles loss of the season; Parkwood themselves have only lost 3 times and are 2nd in the Doubles table.
