Parkwood inflicted a first defeat of the season on Luton 3 and stay top of Div 1. The 7-3 scoreline was a bit harsh on the visitors as there were some incredibly close games with 6 going to a deciding leg. Dave Hopkins was the Player of the Match with a fine treble and teammate Ross Childs just missed out on a maximum when he lost to Luton's Leigh Hickey in the 5th leg. All Hickey's games went the distance and he also just got over the line against Vince Spicer. Phil Goldsmith also beat Spicer but Vince did perform a great comeback to condem Ian Sayer to a winless evening.
