Last Season's Div 2 Champions Sturdee look like they are set for another promotion push winning their opening fixture 8-2 away  against Luton Invicta 4. Mike Porter was the Player of the Match with a hatrick only really being tested by double winner Leigh Hickey. Ken George and Mehdi Golchehreh both won twice for Sturdee but George had to come back from 2-1 down against Keith Ball nicking the last 2 legs 11-9 and 13-11.
