Upnor completed their Div 2 fixtures with a 14th win of the season against Anchs 5. The 8 points gained will not be enough to take 2nd spot from Cliffe Woods who will now only need one point from their final fixture  to join Sturdee in Div 1 next season. Peter Worthington has had a very good season and his straight legs treble gained him his 10th Player of the Match Award. Marylyn Dudgeon also got 3 wins but was pushed all the way by Garry Kimber who earlier in the evening got the better of Paul Werlemann as did Michael Barker. Anchs will finish in 7th spot in the table, a good effort after their promotion from Div 3.
