The Sturdee Club will only be entering three teams into the League this coming season which means their venue has capacity for other Clubs looking for a venue. Alternatively, if you are looking for a Club Sturdee might be able to accommodate you.

The funeral of Mrs Stampe will take place at Medway Crematorium on Thursday, 22nd June 2017 commencing at 11.15am.

All are welcome to attend.

Howard will be opening for practice on Thursdays from 1st June, from 7.30 to 9.30. This is in addition to their usual Monday evening session.

Mrs Stampe (96) passed away in her nursing home this morning. She presented the Knock out Trophy named after her husband Charles for the first 40 years of its existence and her two daughters Cheryl and Diane have carried on the tradition since.
We will advise of funeral arrangements should any of the league members wish to pay their respects.

Congratulations to Anchorians 3 consisting of Sean McMillan, Paul Norman and Jeff Norman who have won this season's Charles Stampe Trophy. They defeated Upnor 'A' on Monday, 3rd April at Sturdee's Newington venue 353-324. A full report is available CST Final Report

Victory went to The Pilgrim School from Rochester, beating Cliffedale Primary (Grantham) and Old Clee Primary (Grimsby) 7-1 and then St Andrew’s C of E Primary (Plymouth) 5-3 in the decider, making light of losing the first match to power into a 5-1 lead.

It is with great sadness that we have to report the passing of Vince O'Brien. He played for Rainham & Wigmore during the 1980's with players such as Alan Longhurst.

Vince was a well loved larger than life character and only 53 years old.
